CloakliTerms of Service
1. The service
Cloakli is a Chrome extension that lets you draw visual masks over parts of web pages before sharing your screen. The extension works without an account. An optional paid plan ("Cloakli Pro") unlocks additional features and is activated with a license key purchased through Lemon Squeezy.
2. License to use Cloakli
- Free features may be used without payment for personal and commercial work.
- A Pro license grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Pro features on up to 3 activated devices.
- You may not share, resell, sublicense, or publish your license key. We may disable keys that are abused or widely shared.
- You may not misrepresent Cloakli's output — masks are visual overlays, not deletion of data (see Section 4).
- You may not reverse engineer the license verification service or attempt to bypass license checks, except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
3. Free and Pro
Free includes up to 3 saved masks on 1 site with single-element scope. Pro removes those limits and adds page-type and site-wide scopes. Feature scope may evolve over time; material reductions to paid features will be communicated on this site.
4. Important limits of masking — your responsibility
- Cloakli visually covers content on your screen. It does not delete or alter the website's underlying data.
- Website changes can stop a saved mask from re-applying. Compatibility with any particular website is not guaranteed.
- Before sharing or recording your screen, you must verify yourself that the masks are showing as intended. You are responsible for what you share.
- Cloakli is not a security product, does not block access to page data by other software, and does not replace password managers or DLP systems.
5. Payments, renewal, and cancellation
- Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Their checkout terms apply to the transaction.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime before renewal; Pro remains active until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.
6. Changes to the service
We may update, improve, or discontinue parts of the service. We will make reasonable efforts to announce material changes in advance on this site.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate a license that violates these terms (for example, key sharing or abuse of the license service). You may stop using Cloakli at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any subscription.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Cloakli is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the use of Cloakli is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in these terms overrides consumer rights that apply to you by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
